（後ろからメガ・スコルピオが現れ、場面がゼロに切り替わる。）
Zero:またここに来る事になるとはな。しかし派手に暴れたもんだ…一体、何があったんだ？
（メガ・スコルピオ戦前。）
???: どいて、どいてーっ！！
Zero: おい！？ ちょっと待ってくれ！
???: 何やってるの！！そんなところでじっとしてたら危ないよ！早く逃げて！！！
Zero: この事件の関係者か？
???: 事件？？ 何言ってるの！！…あぁ、ほら来たよ！ じゃあボク行くね！！
（メガ・スコルピオが現れる。）
Zero: くそ、一体何が起こってるんだ…
（しばらく進むと先ほどのレプリロイドがいる。）
Zero: …説明してもらおうか？
???: わかったよ、後で必ずね。でも先にあいつを何とかしなくちゃ…えーっと、確かあんたは…ゼロ、だよね？だったらイレギュラー退治は簡単でしょ！ココは任せるよ。でも、もしもの時は、L2ボタンでボクを呼んでよね。こう見えても得意なんだ、イレギュラーハント。ボクはアクセル、よろしくねーー！
Zero: チッ、面倒なことになったな…後できっちり説明してもらうぞ！！
（メガ・スコルピオ撃破後。）
Axel: 逃げも隠れもしないよ、だからこんなもの外してよ！まるで悪いことしたみたいじゃない…！

Axel: …そうみたいでね。まさかあんな奴まで使って追ってくるとは思わなかったんだ。
X: 何？どういう事だ、追われているのか？
Axel: 逃げ出してきたんだ…レッドアラートから。こう見えてもハンターなんだよ。
Signas: レッドアラート…あの自警団を気取っている、ならず者の集団か。
X: おまえ達の内輪もめでどれだけの被害が出たと思ってるんだ？
Axel: 反省してるよ、でも、もうあそこにいる訳には行かなかったし…こんなことになるなんて思わなかったんだ、仕方ないよ。
X: 仕方ないだと！？ふざけるなっ！
Signas: 落ち着けエックス。アクセル、まずおまえが抜け出した理由を教えてもらおう。
Axel: …レッドが…レッドアラートが変わっちゃったんだ。今じゃただの殺し屋集団。ボクはそいつらに利用されていたんだ…昔は悪いやつにしか手を出さなかったのに…もう耐えられなかったんだ。

Red: 聞こえているか！ハンターども。俺はレッド。ご存知の通りレッドアラートのリーダーだ。わざわざ、こうやって表に出たのは他でもない。逃げ出しやがった俺達の仲間がこともあろうにお前らの所へ転がり込みやがった。そう、そこにいるアクセル。そいつを返してもらいたい。…と言ってもそんな簡単に戻ってくるとは思えない。知っての通り俺たちもハンターとして働いている。これまでイレギュラーも数え切れないほど処分してきた。そこでだ！ハンター対決ってのはどうかな？真のイレギュラーハンターを決めてみないか。悪いがこっちは今まで捕まえてきたイレギュラーを仲間として使わせてもらうぜ文句はなしだ。最後に生き残った方が勝ちだ！俺たちが負けたらアクセルはお前らにくれてやる。当然だが俺たちが勝てば…
X: ふざけるな！アクセルと俺たちは全く関係がない！こいつの為にお前と戦う理由はない！
Red: 威勢がいいな…でも口だけじゃないのか？最近は現役を退いているらしいしな。まっ、腰抜けには用はねぇ。いるんだろ？アクセル。クビを洗って待ってろよ。フハハハハハハッ！
Alia: 早速動き始めたようね。各地でイレギュラー発生！被害の出たエリアを調べてみるわ。
Axel: ごめん、ボクのせいで…
Zero: 面倒なことになったな。
Axel: …そうだ！さっき、罪を償えって言ったよね、エックス！じゃあ僕をイレギュラーハンターにしてよ！ゼロとのコンビネーションもバッチリだし！なんと言ってもレッドアラートの事ならまかせてよ！
X: 何を言っている！オマエみたいなやつをハンターとして認められる訳ないだろ！冗談はやめてくれ！
Axel: 本気さ！それがボクの罪滅ぼしだよ！！
Signas: おまえが素直に戻れば問題解決…どうやらそうもいかなくなってしまったな。

Zero: そうだな、奴らはマトモじゃない。当然話し合いも通じないだろう。こいつが戻ったところでおとなしくなるとは思えない。それにこいつは…戻る気がないだろ？
Axel: さすがゼロ！ボクのこと理解してるね！実はボク、エックスとゼロに憧れてたんだ！僕も戦う！イレギュラーハンターになりたいんだ！！
X: 憧れだけで勤まる仕事じゃない！

X: こうやって何度も何度も同じ過ちを繰り返してきた…なぜレプリロイド同士が傷つけ合わなければいけないんだ？

(After progressing a bit, the Reploid from before is there)

???: Okay okay, I will, but later. First we gotta do something about that thing…umm, you’re…Zero, right? In that case, exterminating Irregulars should be a breeze for you! I leave it in your hands. X: それでは本当の平和はおとずれない！新たな憎しみを増やしてしまうだけなんだ。
Axel: でも、エックスだってこれまでやってきた事じゃないか！
X: それが間違いだと気づいたんだ…確かに時間は掛かったが、俺は…
Alia: 西地区で事件発生よ。
Axel: 任せて！！ ボクが行くよ、エックス！今度こそ認めてもらうからねー。
X: ちょっ、ちょっと待て、アクセル！
Alia: 今は彼のやりたいようにやらせてあげればいいんじゃないの？
X: ダメだ、このままじゃあいつも俺たちと同じ道をたどる事になってしまう…
