Took longer than it should have due to procrastination, but here it be. Now can move onto X6?! Or maybe something that’s not Rockman for once?! Who knows. For now, another one done for me to look at in a few days and go “why did I write that” and change things around anyway.

Moving again onto Yakuza 0 are this first set of lyrics sung by Kiryu. HERE. Pretty short amount of lyrics on this one.
Go HERE. The new opening video song from Ryu ga Gotoku/Yakuza 0. This game is too hype, I need it now.
I am not super satisfied with my job on the translation (plenty of things that are hard to put to English), so I plan to go back to it sometime. But it’s okay I guess! Of course romaji also there for those who wanna sing along. New game, new song, kapow. Next will probably be more Ishin! lyrics.
Translated the Samurai Ondo lyrics, another song from Yakuza: Ishin! HERE. Not super happy with this one (when am I ever happy #perfectionistyolo), but at the very least the base meaning of the song is conveyed just fine I think.
I am currently on spring break and thus apologize for lack of song lyrics etc. I have been catching up on some gaems! Like, for example, Maria: Kimitachi ga Umareta Wake aka Maria: The Reason for Your Birth. An old PS1 game that took the plunge into 3D as a sign that games needed to be ~CINEMATIC~. Lots of games did this, most of which are now classified as kusoge. Yet when Heavy Rain does it suddenly everyone’s a fan! Tch.
Anyway, this game is indeed pretty derpy on the outside, but fully playable. Because there ain’t much “playing” in the first place! Dayum.
It’s a Haruka double-header! This is her first idol song in Yakuza 5. I forgot I had this on the backburner so I translated it up real quick. See it HERE.
Long title! In Ishin, although it’s a samurai period game, there’s still karaoke to be had. This is the song sung by Haruka. It basically translate to “A Perfect/Good Day to be Hungry”. Probably the most simplistic of all the songs, but still required some thought for translating. The frustrating thing with translating is no matter how much I understand the meaning, making it into decent English can be a little coo-coo-munga.
Anyway, find it HERE.
Right HERE. The CDs are vanquished. I hope they’re okay! Thanks for checking it out.
Next I will do Auto’s Shop Dialogue, Roll’s Call Dialogue and Light’s CD encouragement as last piece. Then that’ll make all of Rockman & Forte translated on this blog! NOICE.
Ryu ga Gotoku 5 aka Yakuza 5 came out a good while ago now, but I’m finally doing something else for it. I added and translated the lyrics to the Opening Theme, Bloody Moon. You can see it HERE. Once again, these sort of songs’ lyrics are a little tough. But I think I did pretty okay!
Also, the video linked on the page has its own romaji lyrics attached in the video description, but a couple lines are incorrect. So you got the TRUE romaji lyrics here, folks.
So yeah. That’s that.
I am also grinding away at the Rockman and Forte CDs. I’ll be releasing them in two pages, both with 50 each. It’s so long that having all 100 in one page would make it like a Empire State Building tall page, so gonna splits it. Yeah!
This gif best viewed with this song.
Finally done! It was a doozy compared to 1. Read it HERE. Probably a few editing things left over but those can wait for a bit. Proper shoutouts given in the actual page. Thanks to those who read it!
Also I posted it just recently but here is the commercial for X2, the song that plays in it, as well as its translated lyrics! Wow!
